Agent 47 is the only interesting character in the movie (and that is not saying much).
Some of the elements of the video games are in the movie (as far as I can remember).
There are plenty of cool action scenes with many OUCH moments…
…But many action scenes do suffer from editing and camera work issues that make them choppy.
There are so many parts in the story that left me confused, because they do not explain much. However, the parts that they do explain are ludicrous and unbelievable.
So many of these characters are dumb, which is why Agent 47 is the only interesting character in the movie, but he somewhat suffers of the same dumbness as any of the other characters.
Hitman: Agent 47 is based off of the Hitman video game series by IO Interactive. As a movie, it is not good. Not only is it cliched and uninteresting, but there are so many plot holes and unexplained elements if you think about it hard enough. You may ask me, “Is the movie true to the video games?” You are asking the wrong guy, because I have only played one Hitman game briefly, and I sucked at it. I cannot say if this movie is better than the last Hitman movie that it is rebooted from (although, one the writers of Hitman (2007) also wrote Hitman: Agent 47), because it has been a long time since I have seen it. I can say that this movie is not worth your time other than some cool action sequences. My recommendation is just play the video games, and hope one day that there will be a great movie based off of a video game.
